Aspiring Apps and its associated applications ("the Apps") respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Apps collect, where it is stored, how it is used, and how you can delete it.

Information We Collect

You can use the Apps without an account. Without one, everything you create stays on your device and nothing is sent to us. If you create an account, we collect only what is needed to provide the features you use:

  • Account information: your email address. Sign-in is handled by Amazon Cognito; we never see or store your password.
  • Files you save to the cloud: the spreadsheets, documents, templates and settings you choose to save to your account, together with their names and dates.
  • Subscription and usage records: the status of any in-app subscription you link to your account, and counts of how often you use features that have limits (for example, the AI assistant).
  • AI assistant requests: when you use the AI assistant, your request and the content of the sheet you are working on are sent to our server and to the AI model provider that answers it (Amazon Bedrock or Google Gemini). They are used only to produce the answer.
  • Diagnostics (some apps only): some Apps use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics that help us fix problems. These are not linked to your account.

Where Your Data Is Stored

  • On your device: by default, files are saved only on your device. They stay there until you delete them, reset the app, or uninstall it.
  • In the cloud: when you are signed in and save a file to the cloud, it is stored on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3). Your account is stored in Amazon Cognito. All traffic between the Apps and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • On IPFS (optional): some Apps let you save files to an IPFS node instead, either your own node or ours. Files on IPFS are addressed by their content and may be copied by other IPFS nodes; turn on encryption in your account settings if you use this option.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to run the Apps: to sign you in, save and sync your files, apply your subscription, enforce usage limits, and answer AI assistant requests. We do not sell your personal data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting Your Account and Data

You can delete your account at any time:

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes, for every Aspiring App:

  • all files and templates you saved to the cloud,
  • your profile and settings,
  • your subscription and usage records, and
  • your sign-in (email address and password).

This cannot be undone. Files saved only on your device are not affected; delete them in the app or by uninstalling it. Files you saved to IPFS cannot be removed from the IPFS network by us. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings. If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

Data Retention

We keep your account and cloud files for as long as your account exists, and delete them as described above when you delete your account.

Permissions

The Apps ask only for permissions needed for features you choose to use, such as access to your photos or camera to add a logo or image to a document. They do not access your device data for any other purpose.

Children's Privacy

The Apps are business, finance and productivity tools and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Apps change or when the law requires it. Changes are shown by a new Effective Date at the top of this page.
